Week 6 Recap

We're almost halfway through the regular season, and the sweet smell of interconference matchups is wafting through the autumn air. All five games this week pitted the SFC against the NFC, with varying degress of success for both conferences. I'm slightly disappointed that the SFC only won 3 of the 5 matchups this week (Thanks Fred). But it's ok, Bhavik won't be winning any more after dumping every single decent player on his team. And now that I've fulfilled my weekly Making Fun Of Bhavik requirement, here are the stats:

Results
1. Team Canuckistan def 6. Carnegie PantyRaiders (by 30.70 points)
2. Mud Eaters def 7. Disciples of Eleven (by 45.55 points)
4. Red Tiger def 3. The Ox (by 28.3 points)
8. Las Tortugas Negras def 5. The DAWGS (by 3.85 points)
10. themadoompaloompas def 9. Core Protection (by 4.15 points)

Record Update
Team Canuckistan (Berthiaume): Most 100-point games in a row (6)
Previous record of 4 was held by Canadian Pwnage (Berthiaume) in Weeks 4-7 of the 2009 season. (Yes, I forgot to update this last week)

Record Watch
Core Protection (Varn) is now within one loss of tying themadoompaloompas' (Patel) record of 5 losses in a row

Conference Stats
SFC vs. NFC Record: 6-4
SFC Total Points: 2901.55
NFC Total Points: 2878.70

Week 7 promises to be just as exciting, with 5 more interconference matchups scheduled. Can the NFC catch up to its rival conference? We shall see. Until then, I leave you with a little something to pass the time. This shit never gets old, seriously.
