Preseason Picks

So last year we did preseason picks and they ended up disastrous. Now that we have been through a full NFL season as fantasy players (or most of us have) let's see if we can get the picks a bit more accurate. I will post each person's picks as I get them.

Preseason Rankings

SNFL HAS RETURNED! And for the first blog entry of this new season, here are the preseason rankings, as voted on by the owners. The number to the right of each team is the average of all the votes each team got (so the lower the better). These ranks don't include Ian's votes, but if he sends them to me I'll update this post.

UPDATE: Aug 16 1:30pm - Now updated with everyone's votes

Average rank for SFC teams: 5.72
Average rank for NFC teams: 6.22

Upon examination, we see that the SFC holds the top 3 spots as well as the bottom 3 spots, while the NFC holds every spot in the middle. So if these preseason rankings were an indication of the season to come (hint: they're not), the NFC would be a much more closely disputed conference than the SFC. But we'll just have to see what happens.
