Picks of the Week

I am feeling very lazy at the moment so this won't be that great but it's better than nothing and at least I put stuff up when I say I will unlike some people we know. *cough*Fred*cough*

Game of the Week: LasTortugas NegrasHwangsaeg vs. Q

Two of the SFC's top teams battle it out.

LasTortugas NegrasHwangsaeg

Key Players: Matt Ryan, Cedric Benson, and Raiders Def
Matt Ryan is going against a non-existent defense in Indy, Benson will continue to pick up where he left off before his bye week and put up good numbers, and the Raider Def is going up against Tebow.....enough said.

Setbacks: Rashad Mendenhall
Mendenhall had only one good game and going against the Ravens, he will still only have one good game once the week is up.

Players to watch out for: Brent Celek and Wes Welker
Welker is going to try to bounce back from his worst game of the season with a neck injury. Celek has a favorable match-up against the Bears as well since they give up a good number of points to opposing TEs.

Q

Key Players: Aaron Rodgers and Dwayne Bowe
Rodgers is going to continue to play like a boss and Bowe has a very good match-up against the Miami defense.

Setbacks: Marshawn Lynch
Lynch is going against the Dallas defense who is still a top 3 rush defense even after the collapse last week.

Players to watch out for: Daniel Thomas
Daniel Thomas is still splitting carries with Bush and I still don't think he is that great of a player, but he has a good chance to put up god numbers against the Chiefs defense.

Final Decision
In the end, I think I will pull out the win by no more than 5 points.

Upset Alert: themadoompaloompas vs. THE TACO KINGS

themadoompaloompas

Key Players: All WRs
Maclin seems to be more reliable than Jackson, Fitzgerald is the Cards only receiver, and Green is one of Dalton's top targets.

Setbacks: LaDanian Tomlinson
LT is a solid flex player since he can run and catch, but he hasn't really done well in either category so far except for one game.

Players to watch out for: None

THE TACO KINGS

Key Players: Arian Foster, Dez Bryant, and Julio Jones
Foster vs. Cleveland, Bryant vs. Seattle, and Jones vs. Indianapolis; those are some very good match-ups.

Setbacks: Joseph Addai
He only had double digits twice this season and has one TD. Plus, I think the Falcons defense can contain him.

Players to watch out for: None

Final Decision
Mex wins by 10 points.

The DAWGS vs. Carnegie PantyRaiders

The DAWGS

Key Players: Gregg Jennings and Miles Austin
Jennings is always a reliable target for Rodgers and Austin is going up against the Seahawks.

Setbacks: None

Players to watch out for: Fred Jackson
Jackson has been putting up some solid numbers but the Jets defense may come in and shut him down.

Carnegie PantyRaiders

Key Players: Jonathan Baldwin and Owen Daniels
Daniels has a good match-up against the Chiefs and with Johnson out again, Daniels should be getting more looks.

Setbacks: James Starks
He won't be able to do much on the ground and will get most of his points through the air.

Players to watch out for: None

Final Decison
Even if Nicks does play, I think Taylor will still win by 7 points.

ElevensElevenElevolutionaries vs. The Lance Armstrongs

ElevensElevenElevolutionaries

Key Players: Beanie Wells and Roddy White
Wells going up against a weak St. Louis defense and White should have a good game versus the Colts pass defense.

Setbacks: Chris Johnson
He's not having a good season and is going up against a very good Bengals defense

Players to watch out for: None

The Lance Armstrongs

Key Players: Brandon Jacobs
With Bradshaw out, Jacobs will be starting and run over the Pats defense.

Setbacks: Mike Wallace
He's not really a setback but he won't put up his usual numbers this week against the Ravens.

Players to watch out for: Mike Tolbert
Tolbert is another back who gets to start because of an injury the starter. He's able to fill in the premiere back role but I don't think he will do it well against the Packers defense.

Final Decision
Garrick continues his losing streak to 9 as Ian wins by 17.5 points

Mud Eaters vs. The Ox

Mud Eaters

Key Players: Michael Turner, Brandon Marshall, and Falcons Def
Any player going against the Colts has a good game and Marshall will be used to dominate the Chiefs pass defense.

Setbacks: None

Players to watch out for: Pierre Thomas and Mario Manningham
With Ingram out, Thomas will be getting some more carries. Whether or not he gets yards is up to how well he plays. With Nicks possibly being out, Manningham will probably be Manning's go-to-guy.

The Ox

Key Players: Matt Forte and Pierre Garcon
You know what I think about Forte and Garcon.

Setbacks: Benjarvis Green-Ellis
I think the Giants D is too good right now and will shut BGE down.

Players to watch out for: Brandon Lloyd
Bradford was able to use Lloyd last week and will continue to do so against the Cards pass defense.

Final Decison
Kevin wins by 12 points.

Team Canuckistan vs. Core Protection

Team Canuckistan

Key Players: Tony Romo and Jackie Battle
Romo will have a lot of success against the Seahawks and Battle should run over the Chiefs defense

Setbacks: None

Players to watch out for: Jordy Nelson
Rodgers is going to share the love with all of his receivers in the shootout between him and Rivers.

Core Protection

Key Players: Victor Cruz and Vincent Jackson
Both players are both going against two of the league's worst pass defense.

Setbacks: None

Players to watch out for: Ray Rice and Vernon Davis
Ray Rice will put up good numbers but not as good as he normally would and I think the Redskins give up a good bit of points to opposing TEs. Regardless, he is one of Smith's top targets.

Final Decision
Fred wins it by 5.5 points.
